Are you able to print to it, from another application, using a Postscript driver?
When you try printing, does the printer "blink" showing that something is received?
Can you go on the printer options and make sure that the Postscript error handler is turned on (when it is turned off, an error will simply not print anything, making it hard to figure out what the problem is). Now where is this option located, well that changes from printer to printer and the naming of the option as well.
Look for "Print PS error" or "Postscipt error handler" or anything that might sound like this.
