Customer has an area code where some prefixes need a 1+ area code and another prefix does not require the 1+.

I did not set anything up under PP Fax dialing options. I setup my phone/modem dialing rules, with 604 area code, selected the few that doe not need the 1+.

Everything is still getting dialed with the 1+. If I set up that area code under PP Fax dialing options as a local area code, and setup the ones that require a 1+ under the phone/modem dialing options then nothing gets the 1+.

It almost seems that it is not looking at the dialing rules through PP Fax. if we just fax directly from the fax console it works fine.

eci-jfrye,

Sorry for the long delay.

Indeed, jobs sent with PPFax will use PPFax's own code to generate the Fax number, and will ignore modem's settings. Normally, it will always dial the 1, unless you check the option in the PPFax configuration to not use the 1, or setup exceptions. So you should setup exceptions in the PPFax options, not the modem's.

Regards,
Rapha
