Why wouldn't I be able to move data objects using the shift and arrow keys? Thank you for your help.

Hi
Make sure that the focus (dark grey) is on the "workspace" window prior to try to move the object.

Just a remark... You need to use the "Ctrl" key + arrows not the "Shift" key to move an object. "Shift" + arrows is used to resize objects.

Thanks! The workspace did not have the focus before I tried to move the object!
