Our AS400 adminisrtator has created a new Output queue for me. She setup everything according to the reference book

If it is the case does your process looks like this:
INPUT: LPD (under tab General, did you provide the queue name entered under your AS400)
OUTPUT: Printer Queue Output (which could be any printer under your Windows queue)

Hi, Lapd, Thank you for your reply. No, this problem isn't related to this post. We do not use Watch to capture the data file now. We only use my laptop which installed the planetpress 5 to capture the sample data.

We do everything according to the reference book. But when we work on it we are not sure what is "remote printer queue" and we just input "PRINTER1" and use my laptop IP address as 'Internet address'.

So we don't know how to solve the problem. Thank you!

Are you trying to capture the data under PPress via: Tools -> Capture Data -> Input (LPD Input)

If it is the case: under the General tab where it says "LPD queue name" use your "PRINTER1".

Click "Capture" button, have your data send from the AS400

OMG, I get the data. yes, We make a mistake, We use the 'Output queue' as the "LDP queue name".
YEs, we should use "PRINTER1". Thank you very much, Lifesaver!
