Hi there,

Working on a 3-part form that used to be a multipart line printer application. Essentially the document comes out Page1, Page2, Page3 ... which is fine when the dataset is one page, however, when the dataset multiple pages, I would like the output to be Page1, Page1, Page2, Page2, Page3, Page3, etc.

Not sure how to setup the output for uncollated sets. Your help is appreciated.

Do you have PlanetPress Watch? Watch can be set up to resubmit the data file 3 times with a different trigger to validate different versions of the form. version 1 prints page 1, version 2 prints page 2 and version 3 prints page 3. The user sends the job once and PlanetPress Watch handles the rest.

If you do not have PlanetPress Watch, you would need a hard disk on the printer and a custom trigger to handle this. See following link How to produce multiple copies of a document

Hope this helps

Yes, I did forget to mention that we do have PlanetPress Watch. Instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Simply create multiple branches in your watch process with a printer queue output calling for the document. The document contains on page, so as your file is printed the first time you use Document1, then Document2 in the second branch, then Document3.

Hope his helps
