Is it possible to change all of the process log files into a single log file? I believe it was before but I can't remember how to change this back. We have about 20 processes and the files grow quite large because I only look at them when I have a problem.

The files are located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Suite 7\PlanetPress Watch\Log

Thanks,
Ryan

mizzfit,
Each module writes their own log file. The only options you have are duration of keeping and the degree of detail. These can be altered in the preferences settings.

There are no provisions to write all to one, all encompassing file.

Thank you - perhaps I was mistaken. It would be convenient if this was an option. A single daily log file for all watch processes.

Mizzfit,

By default, all the PlanetPress Workflow processes write their logging information inside a single file, daily. You'll find those daily log files in C:\Users\All Users\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Suite 7\PlanetPress Watch\Log\ppwyymmdd.log.

If you find that each process writes its logging information in its own file (in the same folder), then it means someone in your organization used an undocumented parameter (with the help of someone from Objectif Lune) to enable this option. Go to Preferences | General and check if the last option on the page is a checkbox labeled "Log all process events...". If it is, untick it. It will disappear and you'll never see it again!
And all your your logging information for all processes will now be written to a single daily file.

Thank you - that has resolved my inquiry. I don't remember this but it is possible I requested this back in the day.

Thank you again.
